spica

wearable technology

Spica is a face mask responsive to the sound. It blocks the sound of the individual while expressing the personal behavior with spikes. Its main function is a direct censoring machine on the mouth while giving the opportunity of letting out any sound for the user in public presence. When the sound sensor receives the sound waves, it activates the Arduino digital kit. The motion provided with the spring pushes the spikes which forms the expressive visual of the sound's frequency. It is a critical approach to censorship and oppressive laws applied in strict governments all around the world.
