Bubbleion is a pavilion built up by balloon shaped curvaceous components of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic. We created the material with the use of polyester resin as the cover surfaced balloons as molds. Material made up the components and the connection detail as well. A single component only has an outer layer and it is void inside. When two balloons connected with FRP they form a new layer of connection. The imperfect state of the fiberglass spheres reflect the process of production. The joined components present a frozen state of random self-packed bubbles in motion.
